Beautiful rainbow in the sky
I wonder how many are looking
like I?
at your fleeting majesty
arcing just right,
your primary colors
muted for our sight.

How fast you appear
from out of the blue,
then fading away
so we cannot view
where that infamous pot of gold
can be?
And if we could
where would that be?

Wherever it is
it's certainly not worth
the beauty of you
above this earth.
