Raindrops Poem by Gail Grierson

Raindrops

I love to listen to the rain
Falling to the ground;
The raindrops tumble rhythmically,
Such a soothing sound.

I love to listen to the sound
Of raindrops as they fall;
The cadence and the melody,
A symphony for all.

I love the freshness in the air
When the rain is through;
I take a breath and close my eyes,
The world seems clean and new.

Raindrops are a gift from God
Reminding us to give
Another chance to those we love
When they need us to forgive.
