Raindrops - Poem by Eva M. Roy

It makes me so happy, to see
Such tiny things falling from the sky,
And, they seem to not have a care, to be
Doing what they do. I may ask, why,
But, I know only God knows the answer
To such a vast question, so I will
Take these little wet items, and ponder
About them, in my mind, while I still
Watch them falling, than splashing,
With all their might, upon the hard old ground,
And, spinning circles, with flashing
Grins, than bowing unto a round
Of applause. These raindrops come as miracles
From heaven, and will return, again, as sodden spectaculars!
