Wishing For More Poem by Eva M. Roy

Wishing For More

On some days, there is an empty space,
That comes, when all else fails.
It comes from, `out of the blue', and, the pace
Of it is very fast, and, it goes with sails,
As the wind takes them astride, and sends Them out to all, who are lost in the depth Of despair, but than, comes the tide, to no ends,
As it creeps into take a look, and a breath Of fresh air, while there is still time,
Before they close the gaps, 'tween the empty
Spaces and the full ones. The Grime
Can seep in if the `water of life' does not secretly
Supply the faith, for the knob on the door,
'Cause, the bad can go away, such as, wishing for more.
