Rainfall Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Rainfall

This rainy season
The plants and trees
In my kitchen garden
Smilingly swinging
Singing and dancing
In tune with
The showering winds
Of monsoons
All together giggling,
Juggling, kissing, kidding,
Tossing and hugging
Each other close tight
Calling for me to join.

While after getting
Perfectly wet-
Under the showers of rain
I'm watchfully sitting calm
Cool and peaceful
In a blissful mood
Hailing
Long awaited monsoons.
