Raining Tainted Blood Poem by melissa fox

Raining Tainted Blood

On this day of darkened skies
a withered hand soaks up the lies
through writhing guilt and petrified fear
i learn to listen with just one ear
I cannot confess my sins
for they are....

Well
blood stained and guilt ridden
bleeding forth a withering soul
black as night
and dank as coal
wet, stinging the air before
i worship the very ground
none but he walks upon
his hallowed soul
doth call to me
as i speak in Latin now
i call to the beast inside and give unto thee
my heart, blackened so
and my soul torn to shreds
dont mess with the poor girls heart
or she will learn to fall apart
at will.
