Raised To Walk

Raised to walk in newness of life
He is my Resurrection
Alive in Him the Lord Jesus Christ
Who did Salvation to perfection
And every sin...past, present, and future
For them His blood was sufficient
What sacrifice...the Lamb of God
His desire that none should miss it

A simple faith is all that's required
Humbled as a child to receive Him
A belief in His Word to be reconciled
And know the joy of being forgiven
A turning away from sin in our lives
And with an honest heart turning to God
A godly repentance His grace will supply
The Spirit making it all understood

In recognition of His great love
My soul has kept on the telling
The wonderful story of Christ's Salvation
With the Spirit's continual indwelling
There's a new passion birthed within
And of it I shall ever talk
I've found a Friend O such a Friend
Since I've been Raised To Walk!
