Random Rose Poem by Elizabeth Castleberry

Random Rose

Rating: 5.0

Today I found the most random thing
As I was walking
Out to the parking lot.
In the most random spot,
There was a red rose
On the concrete by my toes
About to fall into the drain,
Maybe someone's cast-off pain.
Strangely enough,
It lay there without the slighest scuff.
If only the rose would share it's secret.
