Lyndsey Michelle Poem by Elizabeth Castleberry

Lyndsey Michelle

All alone in her mind
She cannot let go
Of a past far behind

Stunning green eyes
And beautiful red hair
Which she tries to disguise

She cries out for attention
Pretends not to eat
We're left in suspension

Ephemeral affairs
She throws it away
Like she has no cares

But I know that's a lie
This must end
But as hard as I try

She can't see she's beautiful
She can't see she's loved
