Rapist Poem by devadyuti nag

Rapist

An insignificant wretch scampering away.
Its shame stripped off unkindly, brutally.
Naked little wretch. Bleeding. And raped.
Its aggressor stood not far away.
The addictive dark victorious glint in her eyes.
Yes! She has done it once again.
One more victim down! One more unassuming prey hunted!
Her evil crooked grin-unmistakable.
The charm of the rapist- unassailable.
The night has set its shadow.
The half moon clothed with the grey clouds.
The poisoned hunger arose.
The drugged lust crept in.
Not again! Not again! Not this night!
Little did she accept,
That hunger, lust and pain seldom understood time and place.
They marched in. Governed by their individual routine.
She must leave.
She must lurk about in the shade.
She must hunt. To survive. To make way for damned Salvation.
Her garb of protection torn apart.
Her nude figurine exposed to multiple jests,
'Rape. Will you? '
'Never! Never! Never! Never! Never! '
Slapped. Punched. Beaten. Humiliated.
The bloody lump of her lifeless corpse-

Rekindled with the same old life. Same old fire.
'Rape. Will you? '
'Never! Never! Never! '
Chained. Gagged. Hypnotised. Shackled.
The rusted waste of her robotic mind-
Rekindled with the same old conflicts. Same old human principles.
'Rape. Will you? '
'Never! '
The charm of the rapist- unassailable.
The murderous curses of her preys,
The hatred in their eyes,
Their disgust. Their bewilderment. Their punishment.
Shrugged off.
For she must lurk about in the shade.
For she must hunt. To survive. To make way for damned Salvation.
But no one understands the rapist's plight..
