Rapture Poem by Chris Dash

Rapture

Rating: 5.0

(this is written in iambic pentameter)

When I think of the things that bring me fun
I like to think about them when I'm down
The things that bring me joy when there's no sun
There is few stuff that takes away my frown
But thine sweet kiss is always good for me
It soothes my needs and keeps me going on
I need thee like a runner needs his knee
Your eyes look like the early morning dawn
You fill me up with everything I need
Your smile lights up the room you enter in
Your love fills up my heart with countless seeds
My love for you is more than that of kin
I hope you do not mind that I'm a bore
I need you in my life forever more
