Rat Race Poem by Clyde Cruz

you have entered the trap room kid

don't be like others that goes in and out

lock yourself in and don't look back

there's no exit for the brave and the fool

you shall fall many times

you shall bleed many times

you shall bruise and break your bones many times

you will die many more times

and only when you accept the worst of pain can you finally heal and rise again

the door is locked

keep on walking
