Reach Out
Have you ever wanted to reach out to someone,
Tell them everything will be alright,
Help them through a bad time?
Yet you can't quite reach
No matter how you hold your arms out,
No matter how you stretch to reach,
You can't touch them,
Life intervenes and holds you back,
Then you feel as if you let her down,
But you can't turn the clock back.

as Pink Floyd would say, 'Tear down the wall', though some people's walls are just built too solidly and not matter what words you use or tricks you ply ' You can't touch them' - and you end up feeling you let them down - fully understand this feeling - Great write!
