Colours In My Head Poem by Lesley Merrin

Colours In My Head

Blush Red with lips a tingle
The passionate kiss we shared.

Silver baubles on the tree
Of our first intimate Christmas.

White virginal untrod snow like our connection,
Snowflakes scuttering to the ground.

Azure skies and seas,
Dreamy days of our summer tryste

The Ivory wedding dress I wore,
You wept tears of pride.

Orange skies ablaze at sunset,
We saw horizons of the East.

A rainbow of memories.

Hi Lesley, I like this poem much better, its really lovely! I had missed the 'rainbow' spelling on your first draught so I think you have gained far more than you lost with the re-write. well done, hope i can get inspired to get cracking. x
