I extend myself
For acceptance
Although it's within reach
It's a challenge to grasp
Difficulty to become accepted
Nowadays ought to require
Not yourself for recognition
Yet under no condition
I'll travel that avenue
I'll maintain my reach
Even tiresome
Becomes my arms
The willingness
To stretch for it
Will never be relinquished
Forever I'll reach
For acceptance
Of my true-self
Which was molded
Of my own thoughts and senses
Not of another's persuasive way
I ought to emerge as
Wouldn't be able to enjoy myself
