Reaching Out Poem by GUY MAGGIO

Reaching Out

Rating: 5.0

There you are my Love been waiting here a long time to say Hello. You look a little yellow are you sick? She said No! just a little from being away so long. Not sure how long we been apart, but feels like 100 years. Lets take our walk that we have done so many times before. Why? is there anyone out this fine spring day? Feels like we are all alone with no noise at all, so we walked all over town, just my love and I. Do you feel funny about this day my love? Yes! I do, we should not be together or be here, we need to go to the cemetery and rest, I feel tried and weak. Cemetery? I asked. Well OK, lets go and sit under a tree. When we got there I saw our headstone and then I understood our Love for each other. We didn't let death or time stop us to reach out one last time, as love is very powerful you see.
