Reaching Out, Only To Find An Empty Space, Where He Once Laid... - Poem by Jenna Marie

Is it wrong to miss someone...
she barely knew
each day the pain grows..

Reaching out to touch
but being left with nothing there
the tears stream her face..

She feels somewhat out of place
deciding among herself no one else
that tonight will be her last night of
looking at the shelf filled
with her memories
so sweet....

Only now to make her weep
at the sight of....
his smile....
his pure blue eyes....

Yet she cannot despise him..
the man she once..
thought she knew
has left....
he is gone....
they are through....

She has nothing left to do
other then pick up
the pieces
and start her life anew
