Reading (For Tanja) ~ Čitanje (Za Tanju) - Poem by Jankovic Zoran

I know that you read my poems secretly,
the way you live, imagine, and love.
We've grown old and wearing glasses
and we act like immature kids.

What I write, you read and delete.
We swap as children over a rope
with a loop we put on the neck.

Everyone has his own diopter of destiny
because reading is a mirror of life.
The letter are just wind of memories
on the beautiful or what hurts us.

Čitanje (Za Tanja)

Znam da čitaš moje pjesme tajno,
onako kako živiš, zamišljaš i voliš.
Ostarili smo i nosimo naočare
a ponašamo se kao nezrela djeca.

Ono što ja pišem, ti čitaš i brišeš.
Preskačemo kao djeca preko konopca,
omče koju smo stavili na vrat.

Svako ima svoju dioptiju sudbine
jer je čitanje ogledalo života.
Napisano je samo vjetar sjećanja
na lijepo ili ono što nas boli.
