Ready To Go Poem by Melissa June

I lay here in the silent of the night
In the depths of the dark, out of sight
Out of reach from the light
Out of the strength to fight
Iv been here for what seems like an eternity, here all alone
Not willing to let myself be shone
To weak now to pick up a phone
But yet tired of being on my own
I crawl slowly into the light of the moon
As i take my last look around the room
I'm thinking of you and how ill see you soon
Aching inside, i let out a loud moan
Whispering to god, I'm ready to go home.
