Real Poem by Ron Pate

Real

What is Real?

Real- is the warm words released by your breath, that originated from your heart, deep within your chest.
Innocent as a sudden rain on any given Sunday afternoon.
It's two clasped hands, joined in love, on a stroll under a brilliant moon.
A soft tune played by a gentle breeze, amidst the leaves of a nearby tree.
Real- greets you when you return home and surprises you, with a sweet kiss at the end of the day.
Met by love, two hearts beat as one.
A gift given each time she enters into the room.
Real- Is strengthened by time, love, real love, stands strong through all the tests of time. Its even there when you close your eyes one last time......
Real- is caught in emotion, acting out on what your heart requests.....
As if it were a speeding locomotive passing city lights; of I may refrain? Real is just a kind word released into your life. Act on it Friend, while you still have the time.......
