Real Acquaintance Poem by Alyssa Rieper

Real Acquaintance

When I see you, I fall in disgust
I think of the teachings of pain and lust
You don’t know the tears I’ve shed
Nothing more is to be said
You make me feel like nothing at all
Tripping my feet, I only can crawl
I hate myself in the end
“This is what I consider my friend? ”
