Compassion cares for the truth
Desiring that all men will see-
What we seek in human pursuit
Is God's Presence, inwardly!

Declaring His Word with boldness
To negate the lies that deceive
Is compassion in all of its fullness
So that men, in God, they'll believe!

How great is the pain in my heart
When I see so many being lost
The Way and the Truth I need to impart
And in doing, I will pay the cost.

I pray that the LORD touch these words
Give them power to open blind eyes!
That light may come from burning swords
To break Darkness, Falsehood, and Lies!
