Real Enough Poem by patch work

Real Enough

I'm fixn' to lay down to sleep and
can hardly wait to see you in my dreams.
In this realm of my reality,
your as real as real can be.
The bittersweet part is when I awake,
I'm thankful I was given another day,
though alone again I must play,
not understanding why it has to be this way.
Then the sun begins to set and my eyes begin to dry,
won't be much longer till you're right back by my side.
