Real Life Poem by Katie Smyth

Real Life

Rating: 5.0

Does it ever end?
This overwhelming loneliness
This stormy weather, this hurricane

Tired,
So tired
Of the shouting, the confusion

the paranoia.
The world wants to watch me burn
In my head.

And what is in my head becomes reality
Every single time I step out my door.

I really like this Katie well done, it flows very well which is an accomplishment in itself. Be proud. Don't stop....

A thunderstrorm of passion lies within your words Katie... open the door, face-full into the storm... so we may all know the truth. Great ink for one so young... I'm impressed. :) -Kelly.

I feel your pain in this poem. It expresses in my view the pain every day people feel. Those who feel our leaders just don't get it. Great stuff
