Realisation Poem by Cainneach Rua

Realisation

The Hunza Valley
Where youthful faces smile
Against a blissful sky agiven
Quiet lives are lived carefree
And health is all to see
But this splurge of reality
Cold and tangible
As abrupt as a phone call
Tosses floating fantasies
To their bittered-end
Youth's but a dream
And life just a tettering-out
Like it was said before in vain
See these fetters secured remain
