Why oh why can you still not see
That your words and actions are hurting me
Do you see what I've been through
My life was very different from you
I know you may not realize
For me I was very traumatized
I didn't get to run and play
I just hope to make it through the day
I didn't get to climb up trees
I didn't get to go to friends parties
Most of the time I prayed for help to arrive
That was just thankful to be alive
Next time think when you are mad
You never know what life they've had
Everybody needs a friend
Who knows what's around life's final bend
