Rear View Mirror - Poem by Scott Clegg

Was truly surprised
hearing from you today

part of me wonders

Wise?

Time apart has brought fervent change
and static hands of time
taught lessons
in kind

like everyday

Please understand

I must know
the things you felt
in thought of me
were they for real
or merely
some forgotten
fantastic

Fantasy?

You know, I have had an old 'love' re-enter my life after about 15 years. And I can understand your words and you wrote them so perfect.Great read!
