Reasons Poem by B.J. McKee

Reasons

Rating: 3.1

I die because...no one heard...
A single silent pain-filled word.
I die because....those who cared....
Chose not to see the soul I bared.
I die because ... of the pressure not to fail
In a world I thought I had by the tail.
I die because...all hope is gone...
Because I feel cold and alone.
I die most because...I cannot live...
Knowing I've given...all I had to give.

So subtle and yet so moving. The pain is relected nicely and deeply. Damn brilliant poem.
