Reasons For Kneeling - Poem by Lela Pendergrass

When I think of this world
All it's heartaches and pains
Sometimes battles and often rains
Are reasons for kneeling
And thank God for living
When I think of this world
All it's beauty and wonder
Sometimes sun light and clear blue water
Are reasons for kneeling
And thank God for livng
When I think of this world
All God's love poured inside
His glorious mercy that never resides
Are reasons for kneeling
And thank God for living
Because in living there is learning
In learning there is earning
In earning there is giving
In giving there is living
Which is a good reason for kneeling
