Reborn in Christ,
Through Baptism,
Yet, pass our days
In sinfulness.
Forgetting truth
That ‘God with us’ –
Christ Jesus won
All temptations.
A baptized soul
Can face satan,
With Holy Ghost
Successfully.
A Christian can
Confront devils
Avoiding sins
Venial/mortal.
Why blame devils
For our follies,
When conscience tells
What’s wrong or right.
The Son of God
Bled for our sins,
Died on the cross
To save sinners.
We need not fear
The devils works,
For hell-destined,
They tempt poor man.
His righteous souls
God cares, protects,
Forgiving sins,
Iniquities.
Blame not tempters
And live in sins;
To reach heaven
Souls must be pure.
We all can live
A life divine
And keep the road
To God’s city.
