Reciprocation Poem by kanishka narula

Reciprocation

Rating: 4.0

I have no strength left, to confront you;
Life is a puzzle, messed from all sides
I lay on my knees and demand for freedom
Will you set me free? ?

The bench of my road-side garden
The long trees and the ice-cream vendor
All those old women we used to wave
Miss you, from the core of their heart

You called me angel, I believed you
You called me the shooting-star in your life’s sky, I believed you
But now you call me stone cold and I still believe you

I wish I could give back your love to you
And you return me mine
The process of reciprocation is painful but necessary
Its not we anymore;
Its, you and I two different people still attached

Help me break this string to get my life back
Help me learn to breathe without you
So that I could live all alone forever
The so called happily ever after! ! ! !
