Reckless Action Poem by Monesh Kumar

Reckless Action

(This poem is dedicated to people who are suffering from depression. Depression isn’t the end of the world. You must be strong and fight it)

That vicious inner fiend
Poisoned his mind
It ruptured the support he leaned
Made him struggle like the blind

There is no way now he thought
He didn’t know how it’s fought
Those emotions that abashed him
Tortured him a lot

His dreams soak in blood
As despair starts to flood
From the high cliffs he ends it all
His hopes drench in mud

He thought it’s all over
About others, he was numb
The message was a supernova
For his beloved dad and mum

They found his dead body
At the foot of the cliff
In the coffin he lay
All cold and stiff
Their loved ones could only pray
And forever grieve
Ending troubles this way
Was just a false-belief
