Daniel Oliveira

Recollection - Poem by Daniel Oliveira

Greeting those I haven't for so long
It hurts to wonder
All the lives unspoken for
In my absence
Here
Hear
Here
Hear
Clasp to this little wisp of cloud-life
Taste the cotton fabric in the sky
Leave all those behind
, In a talcum dust,
Those whispers lost behind your eyes
All those lavish memories
Of happy days
(And) happy ways
Farewell, I’ve found them again
Here
Hear
Here
Hear
Jingle, jingle,
The bells on their feet
As they dance
Back into recognition
Music box, with little ballerina
, Twirling,
With matrix in the sky
With matrix in my sky
I hear the little tune prance about
Every sad hello,
Every bitter goodbye,
And back up to the clouds I fly
Every time
Welcome the lives; their whisper; 'until next time',
