Recycled Poem by Bryan Taplits

Recycled

Nowhere" is where I
am right now-
Entombed echoes so weary-
Though I found my heart;
And I found my soul-
Big deal! So I know
where they are buried.
A bit of joy is no relief
A slight response unsold
Too vulnerable is now my plot
A story told,
Re-told.
So now I linger in my retreats
so cold
I swell-but as a piece,
From a hunger that is never filled
Of my someone
who's now also my beast.
