Recycled Life Poem by Nenia Arnaiz Dulom

Recycled Life

Rating: 4.0

I’m always wanting,
Always searching,
Always longing,
Always asking;

More than life can offer,
More than life itself can give,
Beyond life that exists,
Or beyond existence itself;

I want more than living,
I want more than breathing,
I want more than life of functioning,
Of running in a rat race in whirlwind;
Or more than waking up every morning!

Life for me is nothing,
It is more than searching,
More than wanting,
And more than seeking,
For somebody or for something;

More than being with
Just another human being,
To hold and to love,
To be chained and then what,
To start a new old life?

It goes around in cycle,
It starts with birth,
And ends in death,
In-between are all just in vain
Of survival just to end.
