Red Clay Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Red Clay

Rating: 3.0

Red clays, with many dreams,
Walking in the sun's warm embrace,
Life's journey is a step by step

Blooming like a rose,
Her guest comes uninformed,
All the reds stains her white.

Before the sun goes down
And the market men goes back
Build your own way home.

Becoming a wife,
In the warmth of shared stories,
Two hands will weave a path.

A mother that now blooms,
Nurturing seeds of her love,
To give the Future its shape.

Time gathers like clouds,
Wisdom flows in silver strands,
Each year adds a grace.

An ideal woman stands tall,
In her strength, beauty, and heart,
Your cycle is short and fading.
