Redial Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Redial

Redial
A rocket that spurts
This island that whispers
A serenade for love not only
Serenade for the retired dusk
This island of cliffs and beaches that alternate
Hard granite rock
With sand that Venus trod with Dawn
The mountains if you desire
I hate Dawn
That night escapes not
That night continues on, on, and on…
