We're stuck in a situation that won't fade,
Hoping that soon it will end,
No matter how much we deny
The day has come to face what's real,

Fear is nowhere to be seen,
Strength becomes a doubt,
Can you endure the race
Or will your faith diminish?

Inside there's a question,
Eating you on the inside,
Pondering turns to obsession,
Fuelling the need to escape,

Running at a constant speed,
I realise I'm coping,
Before looking around
And finding a gap in my heart,

I'm empty.
