Reflections - Poem by James A. McMullen
I find peace by ocean shores
Watching waves caress the land,
Washing clean the grains of sand,
I find strength in gazing out
To distant land I cannot see,
Across the vast expanse of sea.
I think of islands green and warm
With golden sunsets and waving palms.
I can capture time and space
In such a way they can't escape.
When I am standing on the shore,
I make a million dreams to store.
