I stared into the mirror
And he gazed right back at me
I looked into those deep blue eyes
Afraid of what I'd see
His lip began to quiver
But I held my place in time
Inside I felt a shiver
As he reached into my mind
Who are you to look at me?
With malice in your heart
But he just stared right back at me
And said, 'where shall I start'
'I've known you all my life ' he said
'I'm never far away'
'I see you as you really are'
'Or as others you could say'
An image nothing more or less
'What would you have me be? '
A reflection of my lifetime
'For I am you and you are me'.
I loved this when I read it before Graham, a real masterpiece of construction and an unusual story line. Love Ernestine XXX
Great work. But I'm asking myself: What happened to that man? So sad, so hopeless. Just like me. Purple Rose

Graham - catchy verse - great concept. You can't fool the man in the mirror - he'll never lie to you. Linda
