Reflections In Early Morning Poem by Shelly Stevens

Reflections In Early Morning

And the yearning never stops
The visceral ache
The hollow empty anguish
The fear of an unknown imminent doom
The longing for a simple touch
A caress of a hand across a cheekbone
A whispered sigh
A moment of simple joy
