the river of life flows
through eternity
no beginning no middle no end
a cycle a circle

i travelled far
i have battled with giving
battled with giving in
merging with feelings
frightening like
pebbles grinding down to sand
timeless and profound

covering my isolated journey
in oblivion in 'meant to be'
searching acceptance
to love myself enough
to dance with the wisdom
of accepting the truth

the ocean of life left me
gasping on the shore
to lie together and reach out
memories of future past and present
no more fear
of ports of misdirection
