Regret To Death Poem by Mbanaso Samuel

Regret To Death

The surge in burning holes,
Of filthy and brazen scowls,
flaunting bare without a care,
Merely laughing at the face you wear.

E'er you'll howl in sneering tones,
Mocking to falter your swindled soul,
To out the damage, tear apart thy pride,
Unveil the rue - the broken side.

Hark to the clangs of recall,
Tap to the songs they brawl,
sing along your fellow past,
Bounce against memories' haunt.

And when thy arms pillar thy jaws,
Remember the lines the presager sung,
And how you bade the churlish choice,
Yourself shall hem and turn the altered glance.

Fallen is you - thus the fatal end,
Enroll the scourge to your grace full flesh,
Shame in you, you writhe her dust,
So in shame the blade to take and thrust! ! .
