Relapse Poem by Oliver Coleman

Relapse

Rating: 5.0

A beginning has an end.
Rewind.
A fight has two faces.
Restate.
To understand the heavy burden of loss, one must embrace both aspects of its being.
Reword.
In time the wound will heal, a bandage of strength woven across the bleeding emotions.
Reinvent.
Strong movement, righteous and sure of itself.
Revolutionize.
Pure light, sound falls away, the darkness caves in.
Resent.
A coma of guilt and anger, let it go.
Relapse.
Conflicting emotion, the loss is understandable yet unexpected.
Rest.
