Relationships - Poem by Gordon Jerome

This world is filled with lost lonely souls
Whose tears through the years are bound to take toll
And worse off are those who threw love away
For they suffer their choice’s everyday
They live in a lie and tell themselves that its fate
While deep down inside they miss their one true mate
Though they’ll never agree or admit it to you
They regret ever leaving their one love so true
Now they live out a lie because of their pride
When the love of their life could be by their side
So ask yourself this before you walk out that door
Are you sure that its over or could you have done more
Most relationships are rarely ever easy to keep
There are times you are happy and times you will weep
But problems faced together will rarely tear you apart
If you trust in the love that you feel in your heart.
“closing thought”
Life’s easier to face with your problems left behind
But if you never face your problems true peace you’ll never find
