Release Poem by Sally Walker

Release

The best sparks fly-
through blue skies.
I've watched them soar as they tore by.
Allowing me to open my eyes to such beauty
Such awe.
Continuous momentous sights.
Realization that a world so painful-
So heartbreaking-
May be so pretty.
That up above lies hope.
You no longer must cope with-
Such desirable pains.
You are allowed to finally switch lanes.
To focus on everything but your hocus pocus thoughts.
You finish these lines with dots.
Yet still push them up whilst buying a color to continue your story.
You sunbathe in your glory.
