Relief Poem by hassan dawut

Relief

I put myself in my pocket
Now I don't worry about getting lost
Anxious fingers can't break my relief
I remain calm as a tied dog in the dark

I put myself in my bag
Now I don't worry about getting tossed
The weight of the bag can't stop my flight
I'm a book
I'm a warm jacket
I'm a bag of sweet candy
I'm a bottle of clear water
Read me at will
Wear me
Eat me, Drink me
I float even higher

I put myself in human skin
Now I don't worry about getting hunted
Suspicious gazes cannot reach me
I swim in your vein safe and sound
