Religion Poem by Matloob Bokhari

Religion

RELIGION
All bloodiest pages in history were written in the kingdom of Satan
Here each claims that his cap is made by nymphs and angels
And starts hating others, wearing caps of dissimilar colours
Seven oceans have different names but contain the same water
All the rippling rivers flow in cadence to one ultimate whole
Science, history, sculpture and painting are twigs of same tree
Architecture, statuary, poetry and oratoryarecolours of rainbow
When all paths lead to God then why we should fight
Message of Muhammad, Moses and Jesus is one and same
Let us pray inmosque, kneel in church and be kind
All wars are waged by Satan, Allah wants peace.

COMMENTS: RELIGION
Michelle Khan: Nice expression, one God so many different religions.Makes you wonder why? ? When we all believe in the same God; ]xIts beautiful.....i like it so much :) ...cent percent agree with u dude
Salim R Javed: xI have an unpublished that is similar to this but brings up different ideas as well. Great write, it does make u question if religion is the real cause of war.
Tod MichellexI: appreciate your observations about where the bloodshed starts - with humans and their hostile, divisive drives - not with the God of this beautiful harmonious globe and universe
RAJ NANDY: xWhat you say my Friend is so true! You may be amused to know that there is someone here who feels that what you & me compose is not poetry! May be that person is missing the 'third eye'! Thanks, -Raj
