Religiously Deceived Poem by Estrella Eguino

Religiously Deceived

Philosophical? Why?
To let the truth come out
Say it.
Repeat it.
To let the truth come out
Say it.
Repeat it.
I did
Yes, if you want to call it that
Others call it something else
Does it matter?
The reason is the strangest of questions
The answer is the same
Does it matter?
Say it.
Repeat it.
Do you want to have a conversation?
What if I say yes?
We have the conversation
And nothing is at stake
A lie. I know that. It works two ways.
I was thinking something earlier
But don’t think I was awake
It's the haze through the sun's rays
If God has created everything,
And our futures are ahead
So our thoughts create reality
No matter where we are.
And that’s me, myself, and I.
When our time becomes invisible
And our conscience fairly trained
Thoughts materialize
A different life will be realized.
Is that so?
And the Dude shot back at me
With a love overdose.
