The glow of the sun on the edge of your eyes,
The soft touch of a days gone by,
Your eyes are as empty as the sky,
Your touch is as cold as December's ice.
I remember the way you used to laugh,
I remember the way you used to walk the same path,
Your laugh now is as ghastly as ever,
The path you take now is as sinister and severed,
As I look in the mirror and I see your face,
I tell myself you are such a disgrace,
A different remedy every night,
Just to see you in my sight,
Some may call me crazy because I still sway,
But you died last October but yet we always dance the night away.
